As far as I can trace there is no legislation
in this country controlling the printing of bank
notes for foreign countries. Certainly the recent
case of Waterlows v. the Bank of Portugal would
suggest that no control is exercised. I have
spoken to H.0. who confirm that there is no
legislation on the subject and that the only
actual printing which they do, in a measure,
control is the printing of the Bible and Prayer
Book.
